Once the account has been created in Xero, click on the word Xero at the bottom of your screen and click “Refresh Chart of Accounts” this updates the Xero chart of accounts inside Actionstep.
To create in Actionstep go to Accounting>Accounts>Accounts List and change the display to Master Accounts
From here you can create your new account by clicking on the green plus, see the link below for further instructions.
Once the account/s has been created you need to map to Xero – click on the word Xero at the bottom of your screen and click “Config” this will take you into the mapping area. You can also access Xero mapping by going to Admin>Accounting>Xero mapping. You can now map/link the new accounts and click SAVE.
